about Julie

As a documentary photographer and long-standing charity volunteer specialising in women's development, Julie is dedicated to facilitating photography workshops that encourage participants to connect to a deeper part of themselves, and nurture healthy mindsets for their future.

Her focus is to develop programs where participants create their own photostories, in the context of fostering community projects that offer inclusion and a sense of belonging.

Julie has an MA in Photojournalism and has been trained as a photovoice facilitator in London, UK. Now permanently residing in Perth, WA she is completing a diploma in Community Services with a focus on suicide prevention and mental health.

Workshops and community engagement programs are available throughout Western Australia, including regional and rural communities. Get in touch to discuss opportunities for your community.
